Marbella restaurateur, Jose Arias-Camison, has hit the headlines by refusing to enforce the anti-smoking law, and has placed a huge sign outside stating that, ‘as a private business we believe it is our right not to apply this law’.
He says: “If people can’t smoke in my restaurant I will close it and leave Spain altogether!” While some clients are disgusted that Jose feels he has the right to continue forcing them to inhale smoke, others applaud the stance."
