Her boyfriend of three years Gethin Jones asked for her hand in marriage during a romantic beach holiday at a luxury resort in Mexico last month.Former Blue Peter presenter Gethin reportedly presented his 30-year-old love with a ring from Bond Street jewellers Goode and Son.
Speculation had been mounting that marriage wasn't far off since the couple moved into a £4.7 million home in London last summer.
The pair began dating in 2007 when Gethin was a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing and Katherine made a guest appearance on the show.
This weekend the delighted diva told fans: 'Geth and I are engaged.
'He popped the question at the end of an amazing holiday on the coast of Mexico and of course I said yes.
'We haven't set a date yet but it will be sometime next year'"
